Senior Software Engineer

My Luxembourg based client has an urgent requirement for a Senior Software Engineer (French speaking) with strong technical expertise in Java, JAVAEE and XML.

ROLE/AREA:

- join the AD Cash&Related applications team who deals with the delivery of new/enhanced services in the context of the Market Transformation Program (MTP/CSIS) and Arrow Phase2 Projects

TASKS/RESPONSIBILITIES AREA:

- support the Architecture activities (PSA/TISI) in the context of the MTP/CSIS and ArrowPhase2 project
- provide senior technical expertise on Jboss Fuse/Camel/Active MQ and EAP products
- Produce and Review technical specifications (TSD)
- participate and support the application development activities
- Perform code review of code written off shore (SonarQube)
- provide technical expertise in preparation of the automated test scenarios (D2SG, Jenkins)
- deliver/support an automated continuous integration framework for a set of applications
- ensure daily progress reporting
- interact with the development team (Prague/India) during the development of the enhanced services

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIRED SKILLS:

- strong technical expertise in Java, JavaEE, XML, Camel, JMS (Oracle Advanced Queue and A-MQ).
- good knowledge of Jboss/Oracle products
- experience as Software Architect/Enterprise architect is a must
- ability to work in a team distributed across multiple locations
- at least a 10-years experience in the development of critical applications is expected

ADDITIONAL DOMAIN & BUSINESS SKILLS:

- experience in overall Custody payment processing is considered as an advantage
- ability to work in an international environment
- very strong command of English and French are expected

- Assignment: full-time
- Starting date:1/7/2015
- Duration: the assignment is currently foreseen until 31/12/2015 (with an option of extension)
