Senior Software Engineer (C15)

Finite Canberra has a Government Client that is seeking an Experienced Senior Software Engineer. This is a contract role from July 1st 2013 through to 30th June 2014.

As the ideal candidate, you will have the following skills and experience:

Extensive experience and knowledge in software engineering with specific knowledge covering one or more of the following: Perl, Java, C, C++, C#, Delphi, Assembler, JEE 6, JSF, JPA and JAX-WS/JAX-RS web services.
Extensive experience and knowledge with Architecture, Detailed Design and Implementation of custom software systems across a range of platforms, including Enterprise Web Applications, Desktop Applications and Mobile Platforms.
Extensive experience with current telecommunications technologies.
Experience with the use and implementation of Software Engineering tools including Unit Testing, Static Code Analysis, Code Coverage, and Continuous Integration.
Ability to administer Windows and Linux systems and the application development in Delphi and C/C++.
Experience in the use of secure coding practices.
Ability to test and debug complex hardware and software systems.
Ability to write .NET windows services in C# to process XML/XML Schema documents.
Relevant training to Work Health and Safety regulations (the WHS Act 2011).
Experience managing PRINCE2:2009 projects and project management tools.
Ability to prepare and proof read reports and documentation.
