Senior Software Engineer - Permanent, Wiltshire - £35,000 - 45,000 DOE + Benefits.

My Wiltshire based client has an urgent requirement for a senior software engineer join their software engineering team. You will be involved in the design and development of embedded software that is used within the intelligent software solutions for optimising next generation networks and services. You will be a crucial part of the software team to ensure that quality and performance of these products are met at every stage.

This would be a great opportunity for a self motivated Senior Software Engineer that would like to move into an organisation that will provide them with professional development and technical challenges!

The ideal candidate will display all of most of the following requirements:

Essential:

- Degree educated in Engineering/ Computer Science

- Good working knowledge of C/C++
- GUI development
- Linux/Unix and Windows Platforms

Desirable:

- Eclipse development tools
- Industrial protocols / fieldbus
- Communications network drivers
- TCP/IP
- IP Sec
- Embedded web-server
- BSP
