Senior Software Engineer

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER to join our client in the Clayton, Missouri area.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

- This development team is responsible for mobile business applications that support the acquisition and sale of over 1,000,000 rental vehicles. Flexible work arrangements are available along with the opportunity to work on various Vehicle Management mobile applications.
- The Senior Software Consultant (C#) is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing mobile applications written in C#. These mobile applications also use web services to interface with other Java based applications via SOA.
- The Senior Software Consultant (C#) also analyzes and reviews software requirements to determine feasibility of a design within time and cost restraints.
- Interpret end-user business requirements to develop and/or modify technical design specifications.
- Code and successfully perform unit and integration testing of software to ensure proper and efficient execution as well as compliance to the business and technical requirements.
- Troubleshoot problems, which include application tuning.
- Participate in the migration of applications to quality assurance and/or the production environment.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred.
- Five (5+) years of web development experience with C# .NET.
- Strong knowledge and comprehension of C# best practices, frameworks, and libraries.
- Proficient knowledge of object-oriented application design and development principles.
- Proficient knowledge in XML and Web Services.
- Experience in Java is a preferred.
- Experience with using Visual Studio 2008 is preferred.
- Experience in mobile application development is a plus.
- Experience in JavaScript is a plus.
- Good communication skills to effectively communicate with various IT teams.
- MUST BE CURRENTLY ELIGIBLE TO WORK IN THE US FOR ANY EMPLOYER.
