Senior Software Developer - OTC Derivatives

SENIOR DEVELOPER FOR OTC DERIVATIVES - Our client, a large international financial services company is currently looking for experienced developer for an FX/IRD Project team within Investment Banking IT.

DESCRIPTION:

- An interesting role to liaise with Business analysts and technical project team members in order to develop solutions according to business needs
- A role which will focus especially on interfaces between various applications
- Develop and validate existing interface enhancements
- Improve system and interface performance.
- Responsibility to develop, test and support the implementation of technical solutions that address the defined technical solutions according to functional requirements of the IRD's and FX options business on a middle-Back Office area.

REQUIRED SKILLSET:

- DESIGN AND WRITE COMPLEX TECHNICAL SOLUTIONS TO ENHANCE CURRENT MIDDLE-BACK OFFICE ENVIRONMENT IN THE AREA OF IRD'S AND FX/PM DERIVATIVES USING SQL AND PL_SQL.
- Very good technical understanding about interface technologies and interactions within a broader technical landscape
- GOOD DATABASE MODELLING AND SQL KNOWLEDGE (ORACLE)
- GOOD KNOWLEDGE ABOUT SVN, MQ AND JAVA
- Able to administer various test environments using UNIX and Shell Scripts
- Degree in Information Technology or equivalent
- Good communication skills in English (main working language), German would be an additional advantage
