Senior Software Developer

We have a contract opening for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to expand our team of engineers who are developing cloud infrastructure.

You should have a passion for cloud computing and for creating applications and services that make developers†lives easier while helping them create their enterprise-ready applications. Limiting yourself to just one area of the technology stack would be unthinkable for this kind of developer, so we hope that you are comfortable doing everything from creating beautiful, friendly UIs, to crafting logical and easy to use APIs, all the way to writing distributed computing algorithms between applications running on entirely different clouds. Since our teams operate using a combination of XP and Kanban practices and processes, you†d be encouraged to work in pairs, write your code test first, and think about things like cycle time and WIP limits. This candidate will be an active, hands-on, developer in the Workflow as a Service team. This team is focused on delivering next-generation cloud provisioning tools to the devops community. The candidate will be responsible for participating in the development, testing, release, and support of all tools developed by the team. The candidate should be comfortable and proficient in the 3 languages identified below. The team is small but problem domain of this product is broad so the candidate should be comfortable functioning in roles other then a dedicated software developer these include app support, tester, release engineer, and SA. The candidate must also be able to provide support for their own Workstation (Linux/Mac) - configuration, patching, and troubleshooting.

Expectations:
