Projektbeschreibung

Our prestigious client is currently looking to recruit a Senior Social Worker to work in Wokingham.

Assignment Details:

•Working as part of a specialist team / service area
•Assess referred clients and complete carer's assessments
•Produce and implement care plans
•Using social work or occupational therapy skills (or, for some specialist posts, other recognised professional qualifications)
•Monitor, review and evaluate care plans
•In some settings, additionally to design and manage a programme of care and / or training.
•To deliver/provide, in response to assessed needs a direct specialist professional service
•Working with individuals, their carers and families
•To promote and safeguard the welfare of children

Knowledge / Qualifications:

•Professional social work qualification (DipSW or equivalent)
•Good working knowledge of the statutory framework for the relevant care group and of an appropriate range of professional interventions
•Previous experience in a social and / health care / education working environment
•Client group experience in a relevant setting
•3 + years previous experience in a similar role

Skills / Abilities:

•Excellent skills of investigation and assessment
•Capacity to problem-solve
•Good interpersonal and communications skills (Face-to-face and written)
•Effective IT skills
•Ability to deal with sensitive issues, manage conflicting views and expectations and cope with unpredictable issues and behaviour
•Ability to demonstrate a commitment to protecting children and young people
•Valuing diversity and respect for others language, religion and culture
•Ability to manage and prioritise competing demands, capacity to use supervision effectively
•Ability to work alone and unsupervised at times yet also work as part of a team
•Capacity to undertake risk assessment and to share outcomes with line management
•Abilities in working with, and in resolutions of, both conflict and change
