Senior Social Worker-£35 per hour-South East-Child Protection

My client is looking to recruit a senior social worker to join their child protection and proceedings team (CP). You will be joining an extremely close-knit team that does not usually recruit agency staff for senior positions. Overseeing the team is a supportive manager who has received glowing reviews, for their excellent supervision, from members of staff already there. It is an on-going contract in which, for the right candidate, you could earn up to £35 per hour thus guaranteeing the potential for great financial reward and mid-term stability. The position is based in the South East of England and is for a local authority that has been continuously acknowledged for its excellent children's services.

The team, itself, deals with child protection (cp) and children in need (CIN) cases and court work and care proceedings. The service practices a policy of balanced caseloads where each social worker will only be managing a maximum of 15 at one time. The team covers a reasonably sized geographical area so being a car driver is essential as well as is being HCPC registered and a qualified social worker. Furthermore you will need an up to date DBS and good references. Ideally you will have a minimum of three years post qualified experience within child protection and court work.
