Senior SI Service Consultant

CONNECT44 have a great new opportunity working for a leading telecoms company based in China. This opportunity is seeking a Senior SI Service consultant. All candidates must meet the below criteria and be happy to work in China. Please read the below specifcation and apply online. This is a contract position.

1 Responsibilities:

- Develop new insights into program management issues and deliver actionable results for Prime SI project management.
- Conduct assessments and recommend actions for improving program management maturity and processes using industry reference frameworks.
- Recommend a roadmap for scaling up Integration Service Dept. and achieving incremental improvements in alignment with organizational requirements and needs..
- Prepare Skill-Set Development programs to improve Huawei resource capabilities in managing and delivering multi-vendor projects as the prime system integrator.
- Provide project and program support and help the project delivery team develop project governance with client.

2  Requirement for candidates:

- 15+ years experience in a large Information Technology and/or Telecommunication vendor organizations with proven experience partnering with business operations in support of managing complex, multi-year, multi-vendor and multi-location projects and programs ;
- Track records on prime system integration for delivery of Business Support System (BSS), Operation Support System (OSS), IPTV and/or SDP for Top 5 Telecom operators is preferred;
- Expert knowledge of IT functionality and integration across business processes in Telecommunication Industry
- Expert knowledge in application of systems development and project management processes in relation to the initiation, analysis, design, management and implementation of complex projects involving multi-discipline initiatives across the enterprise
- Proven experience in evaluating and recommending appropriate project management and systems development methodologies
- PMI and/or PRINCE2 certification required (and/or equivalent project management training/certification)
- Expert level knowledge and experience with project life cycle methodologies and processes, various system development life cycle and system/application program development alternatives.  Experience with international consulting firms will be value added.
- Master of English language, on almost the same terms as a native speaker; able to engage in complex business and technical discussions fluently; able to write and present in English fluently.
- Strong people skill with proven abilities to mentor and empower others to achieve the next level of expertise.
- Willingness to travel and relocate based on project location
