SENIOR SHAREPOINT CONSULTANT, EAST GRINSTEAD W SUSSEX

£450-500 PER DAY DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE

Ballard Chalmers is a Microsoft Gold Partner specializing in the design and build of enterprise business systems for our clients using .NET, SharePoint, SQL Server and BizTalk.

We are seeking an individual with exceptional technical experience in SharePoint to play a key role the growing BC SharePoint team.

The ideal candidate will have considerable experience in the design and implementation of medium to large SharePoint systems as well as technical design and development of SharePoint solutions based on the latest technologies.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Degree (2:1 or above) in Computer Science or related subject
- Expert knowledge of the MOSS 2007, SharePoint 2010 and SharePoint 2013 product set
- Expert knowledge in.NET Framework, particularly C#. MVC, WCF and Entity Framework and related technologies such as REST, JQuery, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Expert knowledge of SharePoint development including usage of SharePoint Designer and Visual Studio for development of Apps, App Parts, Web Parts, Content Types, Site Columns, Event Receivers, Workflows, custom Workflow Actions, Timer Jobs and Claims authentication providers
- Expert knowledge of SharePoint farm design and administration including: SharePoint, IIS, Web Applications, Service Applications and Windows Server, SQL Server. Also to include the design of fault tolerant and scalable solutions
- Good understanding of Agile development methodologies
- Strong verbal and written communication skills: both to technical and non-technical audience
- Strong analytical skills - algorithms and bug fixing
- Excellent problem solving skills

EXPERIENCE:

- 10 years' experience in developing solutions on the Microsoft platform
- Experience in technical presales, proposal and development estimates preparation
