Senior Security Specialist

Working for a reputable and successful IT provider, this organisation is seeking a Senior Security Specialist who will be responsible for identifying and providing technical solutions on engagements during project dellivery.

Accountable for the identifying client requirements and designing and implementation of the solution in accordance with the requirements.

Typically, the role of the Senior Security Specialist will involve:

- Identify requirements and define architecture
- Perform technical implementation and delivery of projects
- Take ownership of components within a technical solution
- Provide hands-on activities during delivery
- Contribute to day to day technical segment activities, including relationship with clients
- Attend Project Assurance reviews and technical reviews during the Project

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE:

- Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in IP security, Firewall design and Integration
- Cisco Security, Routing, Switches, Wireless, VOICE
- Cisco Security platforms (ASA and IPS)
- Cisco Network platforms (6500, 3750)
- Excellent documentation skills, communication skills, delivery skills, problem solving skills
