Leading Australian Security firm requires a Senior Security Engineer for an initial 3 month plus contract for their Sydney, CBD office.

This is a great opportunity to work as a Senior Security Engineer for an up and coming Australian company. Initially a 3 month contract, with the possibility to go a permanent for the right person.

ON A DAILY BASIS YOU WILL BE INVOLVED IN:

- Implementation, installation and configuration or security devices.
- Moves Adds and Changes (MACs) for Security and Connectivity devices.
- Management and monitoring of client's security infrastructure to proactively identify and resolve security incidents. 
- Providing on-site and telephone support to end users. 
- Investigating and troubleshooting technical incidents relating to customer contracted equipment within appropriate SLA's. 
- Diagnosis and resolution of events and incidents within contracted service levels. 
- Maintaining technical ownership of service requests through to resolution including the identification, isolation, resolution and escalation of Security Service Requests. 

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL HAVE:

- Strong IT Security experience within enterprise environments. 
- Strong CISCO & JUNIPER experience. 
- Knowledge of Firewall, IPS, QOS and VPN technologies. 
- Industry/Vendor certifications such as: CCSE, CCMSE, CCSP or CCIE Security. 
- Strong diagnosis and troubleshooting skills.
