Senior SAP BW consultant- German speaking (Back End and Front End) - 4 month contract
Our client requires a Senior SAP BW consultant to be based at their offices in Bern, Switzerland on a 4 month contract.
Your role and responsibilities as the Senior SAP BW consultant will be:
Working within the business and other team members to build requirements and design functional specifications for the data warehouse and Front End dashboards and reports. Maintain a clear understanding of the potential impacts of proposed solutions on other areas of the system and/or project.
Translate functional specifications into technical specifications and ensure a comprehensive data warehouse design.
Configuring and coding the data warehouse and Front End dashboards and reports.
Develop and execute unit testing for all developed objects including testing documentation and validation. Assists in system test, performance test and other user tests as needed.
Training of BW Power Users. This includes providing technical training of key BW toolsets such as Bex web analyzer, query designer and Business Objects.
Provide ongoing support of the existing BO Reporting, Data Services and BW systems. Resolves coding, configuration, security, performance, and data issues in a timely fashion.
Develops and maintains accurate documentation and meta-data for the data warehouse.
The essential skills and experience required for the Senior SAP BW consultant are:
Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work closely with business analysts and other team members. The ability to develop and drive the implementation of BW best practices and standards.
BW Administrator Workbench
BW Info Objects, ODS, Info Cubes, Info Packages, Info Sources.
Design complex, custom BW solutions translating complex requirements in an optimal BW design
Adhere to good systems development methodology.
Prepare project related documentation (functional design, technical design, test scripts)
€100 per hour
