Senior Risk Analyst

Senior Risk Analyst - Banking - Contract - London - £450

A Senior Business Analyst is required to work within a tier-1 bank in London. My client is looking for an analyst to join the Global Traded Risk Control department to assist in monitoring the global credit and market risks which arise from lending and trading activities, as well as approving credit for corporate financial institutions.

The aim of the role is to ensure that stress testing is performed across the group, ensuring best practice for the purpose of risk management and ensuring compliance with Basel II/III. The stress tests will be executed consistently across market, counterparty and wholesale credit risk areas.

To succeed in this role, you must have:

- An extensive Financial Service background
- Experience working at senior analyst level
- SME knowledge around EWST
- VBA Mastery
- Extensive stress testing experience
- Strong understanding of Market/Counterparty/Wholesale Credit Risks.
- Excellent time management - task prioritisation
- Excellent inter-personal and communication skills

This role is offering a 6 month rolling contract and a daily rate of up to £450 has been signed off, for the correct applicant (based on experience, current situation and relevance to this position)
