Senior Reservoir Engineer - Simulation - Woodlands

Sr. Reservoir Engineer-simulations focus-is urgently needed to fill a position in The Woodlands, TX with a top independent oil and gas company!

Progressive Global Energy & Natural Resources specializes in delivering first-rate professionals to the Oil & Gas industry. I work specifically with Reservoir Engineers and have been hired to execute an executive search to fill this role as soon as possible.

The candidate must have experience in the following to be considered:

* 12-15 years of experience, absolute minimum 10 years
* Reservoir simulation technical skills - this should be your passion

- Experience in:

o Different recovery mechanism (primary, secondary, CO2, compositional, thermal)

o Ever challenging reservoir development problems (voidage balance, gas storage/cycling & injection, multi-zone differential depletion, horizontal wells)

o Coupled and integrated reservoir modeling (IPM, IFM, Resolve, Parallel Simulation)

o Reserves estimation and categorization

o Risk, Uncertainty, Value of Information, Project Economics

* We want to see people with a well-rounded understanding of reservoir engineering and how it interacts with other areas of the business.
