Senior Requirements Engineer for the Client Tax Reporting (3035)

For a project at our banking client's site here in Zurich we are looking for a

SENIOR REQUIREMENTS ENGINEER FOR THE CLIENT TAX REPORTING (3035)

This role supports our client's business in its duties through IT support and documents it to provide a common understanding between the clients who use the application and the IT people who built, test and maintain it now and in the future.

KEY DELIVERABLES:

- Develop, manage, estimate dimensions and consolidate information on the requirements of the project's customers, products and product components according to the requirements engineering process
- Identify synergies, redundancies and inconsistencies between the requirements and the project's plans, work products, business strategy and the overall context in applicational and technical architecture
- Understand business drivers and what needs to be delivered from a business point of view
- Model and Document requirements understandable for clients and subsequence roles within IT
- Ensure that specification of the user's needs is accurate, complete and unambiguous
- Maintain traceability between requirements and requests
- Identify impact of changes on the existing requirements
- Provide inputs to a first test strategy for the application
- Provide input to the Project Manager for prioritizing requirements

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- University degree or similar education preferably in information technology or information management
- Requirements engineering experiences within financial institutions of > 8 years
- Good understanding of financial instruments
- Experience and deeper Knowledge of Client Tax Reporting
- Solid theoretical understanding and practical experience of use case modelling (UML) in IT projects
- Deep knowledge of securities, single accounts, FX and forward contract transactions processing incl. corporate actions
- Fluent in English and German (w/s)

BENEFICIAL EXPERIENCE:

- Banking-knowhow about tax, primarily Client Tax Reporting for Switzerland and Germany
- Experience in using tools like JIRA, Polarion, Enterprise Architect 9.x
- Background in software development processes/life cycle
- Project management experience
