Senior Repair Engineer/Manager

Our client, a leading aerospace engineering company has an exciting new vacancy as a Senior Repair Engineer/Manager to lead the engine overhaul/repair function in Ansty, Coventry.

Working in a Component Repair Facility which delivers parts to engines being overhauled you will be responsible for the Engineering aspects from repair creation to delivery and control of documentation, equipment, tooling and processes.

ESSENTIAL:

- You must have a strong Engineering background and be familiar with general machining processes.
- Also must be able to interpret complex repair schemes and drawings and understand how this influences repair route and measurement criteria.

ADVANTAGEOUS:

- Experience of Gauge R&R (measuring), SAP and repair scheme development.
- Any CMM programming experience would be advantageous.
- Ideally be Degree qualified but HNC level with experience

Ideally aerospace experience is essential for this opportunity, as the components being repaired are aeroplane engines. However any engine repair/overhaul experience is applicable if all other criteria is met.
