Senior Quantitative Analyst, Portfolioconstruction-Boston,MA

A senior quantitative analyst role has opened up at a top financial services firm in Boston. The role will be at the leadership level and will require both hands-on and management style contribution.

The senior analyst will be responsible for the design and implementation of the entire quantitative research agenda for a specific investment team in the firm. You will help define the quantitative portfolio construction strategy through collaboration with the investment team and then communicate and execute this strategy within your quant team. Other responsibilities include analyzing the results of the quant approach and identifying areas for improvement as well as serving as the liaison between your group and the technical support team.

Strong candidates will have hands-on experience in portfolio optimization as well as in developing multi-asset risk models.

To be considered for the role, applicants must have:

* PhD in a quantitative field
* 4+ years of experience in the financial sector, preferably in portfolio construction
* Solid understanding of MATALB, SAS, and R
