Senior Quality Engineer

Senior Project Quality Engineer required URGENTLY

My client are a large engineering firm looking for an experienced senior quality engineer with a strong understanding of rotating equipment. The role is for a 12 month minimum contract but will likely run for the next 2 years, based in Lincolnshire, rates are flexible based upon experience.

Brief Description of Role:

Reporting to the Principal Quality Engineer/Quality Manager in Projects
1. Project Quality Planning to Company Procedures
2. Attending defined Project Gate reviews and Risk assessments
3. Supplier Co-ordination
4. Co-ordination with Product Acceptance, Supplier Quality Assurance and Project Management
5. Non Conformance Management and management reporting

Qualifications:
Time Served with sound engineering background in Mechanical/Electro mechanical engineering. 5 Years experience in a Project Quality Engineering Environment. Quality Management system fundamentals. Engineering Degree/HND/HNC/BTEC qualifications in a mechanical or Electro mechanical discipline with ideally some experience within a service environment.

Experience:
Experience in all aspects of Quality Management in Projects activity including Rotating machinery and auxiliary equipment. Interpretation of customer specifications, Engineering drawings, Purchase specifications, Product certification requirements to BS EN 10204. The candidate shall ideally be conversant with pertinent EU directives all statutory and Company Health Safety and Environmental legislation.
