Senior Quality Assurance Test Analyst - Luxembourg

SENIOR QUALITY ASSURANCE TEST ANALYST - LUXEMBOURG

We are currently seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Test Analyst to join JP Morgan's Testing Team based in Luxembourg for an initial 6 months contract.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Identify and plan all of the activities required to successfully deliver the data migration with the Data Migration Manager
- Planning and execution of test scenarios and test scripts to test the data migration and reconciliation process
- Oversight and quality assurance of data cleansing
- Assess and communicate on the status and progress of data migration related activities defined on the project plan, taking remedial action to correct any deviation where required
- Data analysis, data mapping and identification of any data cleansing activities to be undertaken
- Define, document and obtain sign off from stakeholders of the reconciliations required to be performed as part of the migration
- Work closely with internal and external Technology teams to ensure that the migration requirements are specified and built correctly
- Define requirements and ensure the end to end migration process meets the business and technical needs.
- Facilitate walkthroughs of the solution with other programme workstreams
- Investigation of data migration issues and defects, working with the relevant internal or external parties as required to resolve in a timely manner
- Communicate effectively on technical and non-technical issues encountered
- Ensure minimal impact to Operations during the data migration process

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

- Knowledge of the Fund Administration business, and in particular, projects related to the Transfer Agency business
- Proven track record as an Analyst working on medium to large scale data migration projects
- Experience of all stages of the project life cycle, from initiation through to implementation and post implementation support.
- Knowledge of activities involved in data mapping and data analysis from a migration point of view
- Experience of the GFAS Transfer Agency system provided by the vendor Bravura Solutions Limited (BSL), ideally from a data migration point of view
- Proactive, well organized and methodical. Attention to detail and strong organisational/planning skills
- Can demonstrate excellent analytical and logical thinking to understand and analyse complex issues and processes
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Good listening and questioning skills

- Strong skills with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and Visio
- Professional project certification or equivalent work experience preferred.
