Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer needed for a position that begins with a 1 year contract and then is likely to be converted to become permanent with a major software company having a facility in the Triangle, NC area. The Quality Assurance Engineer works as part of an agile development team and performs verification for a commercially successful Software as a Service (SaaS) software product. In this role you will take the initiative to support the QA objectives of the team ensuring that development meets the stated requirements and validate that the product functions as intended. Will design, build, and execute functional and customer use case focused tests that verify the accuracy and reliability ensuring products meet stated requirements. Will develop the use of metrics, data and fact to measure quality and refine testing. Required skills/experience:

- SQL including creating Joins.
- Some combination of Performance Testing, Web Application Testing, Test Automation.
- Write Test Plans.
- Write Test cases.
- QA - 2 to 10 years of experience.
- A real go getter attitude is more important than years of experience!

During the face to face interview you will be given 3 tables and some keys and will be asked to write a 3 table join in SQL, will you have any problem at all performing that task?
The current release schedule is 9 releases each year. All releases require the QA team to perform mini-regression testing for a couple hours on a Saturday (can perform from home). However some releases require QA to work a full Saturday and part of Sunday to validate the release. Must be able to start in the Triangle Area of NC immediately or within 2 weeks notice.
