Our client is a hugely popular Northwest retail company seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to assist in implementing a platform solution. You will be part of a SCRUM team focusing on system interfaces and will help define the quality of the deliverables. You will then execute the necessary testing in ensuring that every sprint delivery is of agreed upon quality. Strong collaboration skill is a key to being successful in this role. You will be identifying relevant test scenarios, writing and executing test cases throughout the project, including any regression/end-to-end testing. You will also manage the complete life cycle of testing within your SCRUM team.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Strong QA background (5+ years)
- 2+ years experience testing system interfaces and integrations
- Familiarity with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and experience testing SOA implementations
- Expert level understanding of QA methodologies and best practices
- 2+ years experience being part of Agile/SCRUM teams

ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Familiarity with SQL, XML/XSLT, SOAP, web services technologies a strong plus
- IBM Tririga application functional testing experience
- Experience in testing platform solution implementations
- Strong experience in TFS
- Self-motivated and able to flourish in cross functional roles
- Ability to voice your opinion in design discussions, effort estimates and retrospectives
- Ability to stand your ground in following agreed upon QA methodology
- Experience to diligently capture all the necessary details in a defect so it never comes back requiring additional information
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work well in a group setting
