A large financial institution in downtown Chicago is looking for a senior level python developer to work on brand new applications related to trading, PnL, and risk. These will be multi-threading high performance applications built in an agile (scrum) environment. This is a senior level position with opportunities to grow, advance, and lead. Desire skills: - 6 + years experience in software development, 3+ years in finance - Python development experience is a big plus, Java or C++ with python knowledge is ok if willing to learn - Knowledge of multi-threading, distributed architecture, and real-time systems - Experience working in an agile (scrum) environment This is an opportunity to work on a new and growing team which is building all new applications.
