Project Description:
Following the recent deployment of Google Productivity tools for the enterprise, this project intends to drive the adoption of the new platforms globally for our client by driving additional enhancements, enabling new use cases and conducting a comprehensive adoption campaign.
Role Description:
- The Senior Project Manager/Workstream lead will have ownership and be accountable for managing the workstream activities dealing with changes to the Shared Mailboxes and the enhancements to the Real Time Collaboration suite. This includes new features for Hangout, the decommissioning of Lync and better integration of the Real Time collaboration tools to the meeting management systems.
- The job holder will report into the Team Head of IT Infrastructure Project Management for administratively and for oversight. Work assignments will be handled and controlled by the Project Manager of the Google Next Project. The workstream lead will collaborate with system owners, business customers to collect requirements, plan the implementation with the project team and manage the delivery of the features while following project management standards and best practices in use in the company.
- Travelling of up to 10% of the work time may be required at peaks
- Working language is English and high proficiency in working virtually is a must.
- Familiarity with the Google suite (Google drive, email, calendar, hangout, G+) is highly desired
Must Have Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience as a successful Information Technology Project Manager using structured project management processes
- Experience with Software Development Lifecyle Projects
- Experience with Application Deployment, Application decommissioning projects
- Experience in IT project management (PM certification a plus)
- Experience in working with IT Quality
- Experience in detailed planning and tracking Leadership of external/internal staff
- Experience in virtual, international team settings
- Cross-functional communication and negotiation skills; proven track record of handling escalations on all levels IT internally as well as between business and IT.
- Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Understanding of OCM and Business Analysis
Nice to Haves:
- Google for enterprise experience
- Outlook/Exchange/Lync projects experience
- German and/or Spanish language skills
- Pharma experience
