SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER TELECOMS BILLING PROJECT
Project managing a major billing system implementation project within a telecoms environment where you will be representing the operator and managing an external vendor. The aim is to ensure the successful delivery of the new solution in a timely and effective manner by collaborating and facilitating the vendor while also holding them to task. You will need to have proven experience delivering billing projects and ideally have done this in a telecoms environment previously as well as have strong vendor management skills and stake holder management skills. Being able to clearly articulate your experience will be important since this role will be reporting to senior stake holders and the project has high visibility.
You will have full ownership of this project which is currently at planning stage.
ROLE/OPPORTUNITY:
Senior Project Manager of billing project
Telecoms business domain
Vendor management to ensure successful project outcome
Managing senior management stake holders
Regular reporting
Risk management and risk mitigation
Facilitating the vendor in the interactions with business and IT teams
Contract role initially for 6 months project will run for 12months +
Dublin city centre location
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
10+ years project management experience
Deep experience of implementing large scale billing solutions
Proven experience of managing a software vendor/systems integrator
Experience of successfully engaging with senior stake holders
RATE:
Euro 550 - 600 per day
6 month rolling contract
Located in Dublin
