Senior Project Manager - Technical Services

This is a 6-12 month contract opportunity.Overview

Our client is looking for a Project Manager with Technical Services experience and some exposure to infrastructure projects. Qualifications

Required Skills: - 10+ years of Project Management experience (at a minimum, plus experience with oil and gas projects)
- Formal training and/or Project Management designation as well as knowledge of Project Management best practices
- Demonstrated success managing large, multi-year projects
- A University Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
- Very strong and proven skills when it comes to project planning, budgeting, etc.
- Demonstrate a strategic approach to project management versus a tactical approach where they simply execute a project plan
- Strong facilitation skills (ability to herd cats )
- Self-motivated, self-starters with a real and demonstrated/sustained work ethic
- Change management experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Honesty and integrity
- The proven ability to deal with politics, policy/policy changes, conflict, stress, etc.
