Senior Project Manager - Retail Banking - UAM - £500.00 per day - Lond

My client, a leading UK retail bank, are currently looking for a Senior Project Manager to join their User Access Management Programme on an interim basis. 

PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAMME

The User Access Management Programme will protect against financial loss and reputational damage by ensuring correct user access is in place for the bank's most critical systems

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Lead and direct a project team, managing activities to improve the quality of organisation data feeds within the UAM programme:

- Manage a team of BAs and core processes for the identification and improvement of Data Quality.
- Manage a 'recertification assurance' team and core processes to engage business and IT stakeholders after each recertification cycle to provide assurance that inappropriate user access has been removed.   
- Work with Group IT stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of technology development.
- Provide a central view of progress against business case objectives and regular management/ad hoc reporting. 
- Manage the workstream plan, key risks and issues, key stakeholder relationships and act as the point of escalation between the BA teams and programme leadership/agreed governance paths.  Regular interface with IT.

CORE SKILLS

- Good planning and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to analyse/interpret/interrogate analytical information and production of robust executive summary documents to help key stakeholders make informed decisions.
- Ability to engage with and influence senior management within the Group.
- Confident in providing written and verbal updates to a diverse group of business and IT stakeholders.
- Experience of producing business cases and ability to track and manage finances.
- Managing 3rd party/supplier relationships.
- Strong PowerPoint, Excel and Microsoft Project skills.

DESIRABLE SKILLS

- More than 1 year experience in UAM or IT Security related projects
- Knowledge of capturing and documenting IT Requirements
