Senior Project Manager - KYC, Compliance, Risk Management

On behalf of one of our clients in the banking sector in Zurich, we are searching for a Senior PM who will be responsible for projects in their KYC area. The professional will work closely with the business and IT teams within Operational Risk Control and Compliance.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Responsibility for running projects from initial to final stages within the Group Risk Control team, more specifically in the area of Financial Crime - KYC (Know-Your-Client)
- Managing the workflow of the project team and the project deliverables
- Collaborating closely with business and IT stakeholders across various locations, primary stakeholders include Compliance, Operational Risk, Front Office, etc.
- Liaising with external experts
- Preparing business cases

IDEAL PROFILE:

- Several years of experience in a Project Management function
- Strong background in the financial sector, ideally in Wealth Management/Corporate/Retail banking
- Track record in delivering projects within budget and timeframe
- Very good understanding of KYC/Compliance or Risk Management topics
- Ability to collaborate successfully with stakeholders at various locations
- Experience in a dynamic and challenging environment
- Ability to manage complex projects in a global international environment
- Excellent relationship-building skills
- Fluent English, German would be a strong advantage
