Senior Project Manager Fixed Term 12 Month Contract

My client is a market leading organisation based in West Yorkshire and due to further growth within the business requires a Senior Project Manager

Reporting into the Programme Manager you will manage a portfolio projects within an IT environment ensuring alignment to business growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Plan, lead, monitor and report on the work of project teams to deliver solutions to meet functionality, cost and timescales
- Apply best practice project management techniques to effectively manage multiple, diverse projects with different stakeholders, project teams, scopes, and deadlines
- Translate business strategy into meaningful project initiatives through working with senior managers and directors of the business
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to drive processes forward

KEY EXPERIENCE

- 7 years experience managing large projects £3m+
- Experiance working in a IT Delivery & Development role
- Proven track record for implementing innovative solutions to complex problems
- Able to identify and assess stakeholder needs, and to craft compelling solutions
- Understands complex technical concepts and situations, and can express them in a clear and easily understood fashion
- Track record of working with 3rd party software suppliers
- Offshore experience
- Financial Services experience
