Senior Project Manager BI

Projektbeschreibung
He will work in the BI projects department with approximately 10 colleagues. The project team varies in size from 1 to 5 employees. These are all people who have great Teradata technical knowledge. The PM has to have functional knowledge of Teradata.
The languages spoken are French and Dutch. The offshore team speaks English, so the PM has to be trilingual. The projects he will do are all BI application development.
The person we're looking for has to be a classic senior project manager. He doesn't have to be certified, but he has to have proven knowledge of PM methodology. He has to truly understand Prince2 methods. They work in the Waterfall model, but they are moving towards SCRUM, so he has to has proven experience in both. It's the key that the PM can be operational in short period of time.
We are looking for someone who can react very fast to questions from the management and the budget holder. Someone who is to-the-point. He has to have experience in implementing new systems. Who is a good communicator. Has good skills in analysing the risks involved. He has to be able to create an Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD). He has to be able to structure the requirements he gets from the business and propose the most adequate solutions for Datamodelling.
The working places vary between Brussels and Antwerp. The working hours are flexible. The travelling has to be done with his own car.
Technical skills:
Erwin Data modelling tool (has to be able to create an Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD)
SQL (functional)
Teradata knowledge (teradata financial services logical data model)
Functonal skills:
Project management skills >3 years
Methodology
Be able to capture and structure requirements
Propose, in accordance with architecture, most adequate solutions
Other skills:
Structured and delivery oriented
Good communicator
Able to produce appropriate & structured reporting
Can easily adapt to a changing environment
- Manage a set of small to medium size projects (100-1000 mandays).
- Apply AXA methodology and governance.
- Secure project follow-up (planning, team meetings, steering committees) and produce structured and appropriate reporting.
- Capture and understand business requirements as expressed by the key users
- Propose most suitable solution in accordance with Architecture.
- Be able to quickly set the scope of an initiative and sketch a first draft of solution allowing to the analysts and architects to further elaborateMichael Bailey International is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
