For an international Food organisation I'm looking for a Sr. Project engineer/manager to assist in the creation of a new production line for one of their sites in Eastern Europe. The Sr. Project engineer/manager will lead the project teams and have a hands-on role to ensure the line is up and running mid 2017.

Responsibilities:
*Hold responsibility for the qualification, procurement and implementation of new machinery (vertical/horizontal bagging machines, way equipment, wrap around case equipment)
*Take responsibility for the FAT's and SAT's
*Safeguard project timelines and budgets (CAPEX experience is preferred)
*Maintain overview of project
*Technically lead the project engineering teams on site
*Implement lean manufacturing principles
*Communicate progress to upper management
*Advise stakeholders on engineering standards
*Train operational staff on new equipment

The Senior project engineer/manager must:
*Hold a Technical degree (HTS, Mechanical engineering, Werktuigbouwkunde)
*Speak fluent English and have strong communication skills
*Be willing to travel internationally
*Have practical knowledge and experience on Lean manufacturing (6Sigma)
*Multiple years provable experience within the Food processing sector
*Hands-on engineering- and project management experience
*Experience with CAPEX projects
*Be capable of leading project teams (engineers, operators)
