Rate: £38.38 per hour LTD

OUTSOURCE UK LTD are actively seeking to recruit a Senior Project Engineer for a contract role on behalf of a client.

A leading Engineering and Defence organisation

THE JOB:
Seeking to recruit a senior project engineer who will be responsible for the following:
Plan, organise, direct and control resource on one or more projects to ensure satisfactory attainment of project objectives within the contractual, commercial, programme and quality requirements of the contract.
Manage the scope, specification, time, cost, quality and risks and resources aspects of the project.
Co-ordinate, integrate ad motivate the project team and project participants to ensure successful project execution.
Monitor and review the status of the project, identify issues and develop solutions to fulfil project obligations.
Manage the customer interface to maintain a good working relationship consistent with the company's interests ensuring that there are no conflicts with the customer interests.
Establish and maintain open lines of communication with the customers and also with senior management teams.
Operate within the company's established policies and procedures.
Gain a clear understanding of and apply the quality and safety, health and environment management system documentation (eg process instruction, workmanship standards, and risk assessments) applicable to your particular wok scope.
Liaison with CS Design Team Leaders/Members, Technical Authorities, MoD customers, Shipbuilder and Suppliers where applicable in order to project milestones.
Preparation for & presentation at internal and external reviews

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & KNOWLEDGE
Degree, HNC or equivalent qualification in Project Management or an appropriate related discipline
Self-motivated, enthusiasm for problem solving, and strong written & verbal communication skills
Experience of developing and maintaining coherent, fully integrated and workable project plans and resource plans
Experience of Project Risk and Opportunity Management
