SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER REQUIRED!

SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER/9-12 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT/LOCATED IN OXFORDSHIRE/START DATE - MAY/IT HARDWARE/PC/LAPTOPS/TABLETS/DRIVING LICENSE REQUIRED/COMPETITIVE SALARY

Capita have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Product Manager to join to our highly reputable client, located in Oxfordshire. This position is a fixed term contract and requires the candidate to join in May.

You will be responsible for looking after a portfolio of branded and third party laptops, PC's and tablets, identifying market opportunities and ensuring that our client has propositions and a product range that delivers market share growth. You will provide strategic direction of your products, meet with customers and suppliers, analyse competition and attend conferences and events to understand the market and help drive the business forward. You will liaise with the development teams to ensure that the product is being delivered successfully and also work closely with the marketing, operations and purchasing departments.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

- Previous experience working within Product Management at a senior level.
- Strong experience in IT Hardware Products and or Mobile Devices, including; Lenovo, HP, Toshiba and Apple.
- Proven experience in delivering products successfully
- Strong negotiation skills
- Experience with dealing with stakeholders, customers and senior staff.
- Strong communication skills, coupled with the ability to build strong working relationships
- Commercial awareness/Ability to identify new product opportunities
- Ability to manage your own workload
- Strong problem solving skills
- Must hold a valid UK Driving License

DESIRABLE SKILLS:

- Certified in Marketing (CIM) would be an advantage

This position will be working from Monday - Friday, 38 hours per week, with occasional travel to client sites locally and nationwide.
