Senior Product Manager

Yoh has a contract (potential contract to hire) opportunity for a SENIOR MOBILITY PRODUCT MANAGER to join our client in Bellevue, WA.

JOB OVERVIEW:

The Product Manager role is responsible for the definition of technology software products based on the company's vision and strategy. This person works closely with the Management Team, team mates in the Product Marketing team, Designers, Engineering, and other stakeholders to create best-in-class products.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- This person is responsible for creating market requirements documents using input from customers, market research, stakeholders and working with the Engineering team to deliver significant, meaningful innovations that meet customer and market needs.
- The Product manager owns the product requirements document and makes key decisions to meet feature and schedule targets.
- The Product Manager's job also includes ensuring that the product supports the company's overall vision, strategy and goals.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- BS Degree is a must
- Three (3) plus years direct experience in Software Product Management or Product Marketing
- A good track record of major product launches
- Manage projects from ideation to requirements gathering to design to implementation and assessment; keeps track of all moving parts
- Experience working and collaborating with Sales, Customers, Designers, Engineering, and 3rd party vendors to ensure the product vision is executed
- Track and analyze relevant competitor and industry trends
- Clear, concise and complete written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to write well thought out Product Requirements Documents
- Can create presentations and other collateral for Sales and Business Development
- Strong passion, energy and drive.
- Can balance a strategic and tactical role. It is equally important that the product manager lead discussions on product/business strategy and deal with day-to-day tactics to get the product out the door.
- Has a keen sense for product usability, design and functionality
- Can understand and ramp up quickly on new technologies
- Must have an innovative mind set, love identifying problems and solving them

PREFERRED JOB SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:

- MBA is a plus
- Exposure to Embedded systems, mobile technology products and/or speech technologies is a plus.
