Senior Procurement Business Partner

*Due to the nature of this work Government security clearance of SC will be required and DV clearance would be an advantage*
*Previous clearance will be considered*

The role of the SPG Senior Procurement Business Partner will encompass the following:

To actively support and manage the procurement tender process across a diverse range of Categories which will include Property minor works using NEC3 and occasional Fidic form of contracts, security related products (CCTV, digital radios, access control, UPS, Cabling, Ballistic doors/windows) and General products (building materials, Electrical consumables, tooling), General Manufacturing and Fabrication products and Professional Services ensuring this is in accordance with Treasury (HMT) and EU Regulatory law, policies and procedures in relation to public procurement.

Primary Pillar will be Security and Property Group and where required supporting other Business Pillars and Commercial Supply Chain Group initiatives.

Role profile:

Mandatory
*More than 5 years of experience in a Senior Procurement Role.
*Senior Management/Director stakeholder experience.
*Extensive knowledge of Public Procurement procedures.
*Substantial demonstrated experience of public procurement processes, including drafting OJEU Notices, PQQs and ITT documentation.
*Knowledge of e-tender tools (eg Bravo).
*Good communication skills. Ability to identify key stakeholders and implement appropriate communications plan.
*Excellent Customer/Stakeholder engagement skills.
*Good team working abilities.
*Able to demonstrate financial and commercial acumen and recognise need for most economical advantageous offer rather than cheapest price.
*Ability to persuade and influence.
*IT literate in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Project Management software.
*Experience of NEC3 contracts would be advantageous;
*Substantial demonstrated experience of project management and programme management processes;
*MCIPS or training towards.
*Degree level qualification
