Senior Principal Engineer (m/w/d)

Currently we are looking for an Sr. Principal Engineer for an interesting project. The Sr. Principal Engineer role needs to define Camera Mirror Replacement System (CMS) requirements/ structure for ADAS BU platform development. This person will lead the development and productization efforts for CMS including the relationship with potential 3rd party vendors.

Your tasks will be:
+ Lead technical Strategy and product development direction working with the Product Owner and Product Manager for the CMS platform
+ Define CMS product requirements and contribute to development of the CMS product/ technology roadmap
+ Review suppliers and technology providers for CMS products
+ Work closely with third-party technology providers, marketing and engineering teams to chart the next generation technologies for future products
+ Receive and interpret OEM RFI/RFQs, and utilize available technical resources to develop responses
+ Interface with customers to define requirements and present proposals for CMS products

This role does not currently have disciplinary responsibility, but there is a global team that the person in this role will interface with and ensure that the development environment and output is compatible and efficient across all global sites.

+ Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
+ Highly experienced with vast knowledge in ADAS systems, focusing on camera-based systems
+ Hands-on experience in development of POC projects for vision-based systems
+ Enterprise level documentation skills
+ Experience with project quality techniques including planning, risk management and decision making
+ Basic Functional safety knowledge
