Senior Portfolio Specialist

Harvey Nash is recruiting for a Senior Portfolio Specialist's (Procurement) for a 3 month contract based in Edinburgh or Glasgow. This role itself will involve various procurement activities which will result in you providing an efficient commercial service.

You will be:

. Reviewing procurement strategies
. Maintaining departmental policies.
. Monitoring contract and dealing with contractual queries
. Working on national tenders

The specialist will support the development of complex specifications and EU procurement projects, including leading tender evaluation of complex requirements. The position will also require an understanding of the role of contract management and working closely with customers to manage contracts and ensure delivery of value for money. This role will require the development of a procurement strategy and identification of the customer's needs, as well as leading procurement's contribution to stakeholder engagement.

This role would be well suited to a Senior Portfolio Specialist with experience in the public sector and requires supporting, planning and leading significant projects.
