Senior Planning Manager

Senior Planning Manager - Bolton/Nottingham - 6 months - Large Utilities client

On behalf of Hyphens utilities client I am looking to recruit a Senior Planning Manager for an initial period of 6 months. This role is based in Bolton or Nottingham and would require travel to each site on a weekly basis.

Reporting to the Head of Operational Planning it is your responsibility to work with two Planning Managers and deliver effective and accurate resource plans within the planning function. You shall be assisting the development and shaping of the planning function across the front and Back Office, identifying opportunities to improve and implement best practice.

Key Responsibilities:
-Responsible for the production and delivery of accurate resource plans
-Work alongside Customer Service Managers and Planning Managers to identify the team set up and identify opportunities to improve operational areas
-Evaluate and shape operational strategy in order to ensure resources are efficiently utilised to balance front and Back Office workloads
-Develop and maintain strong relationships
-Continuously review our processes considering the impact we have on our Customer Service colleagues
-Make informed strategic decisions with regards deployment of resources within their departments using established Resource Planning techniques
-Ensure workforce management application is used in the most effective way to minimise effort and maximise efficiency
-Ensure the operation has the resource planning tools, training, and knowledge they require to undertake their roles

Experience required:
-Experience within a Resource Planning function
-Operated at a senior level of management within Resource planning, ideally within high volume contact centres
-Experienced user of a workforce management tool (ideally TotalView)
-Strong analytical skills
-Key stakeholder management
-Customer focused
-Drive for performance management within Customer Services
