Senior PI Osisoft and Process Automation Specialist (Pharma Production

Our client, one of the biggest pharmaceutical companies based in Basel, is looking for a SENIOR PI OSISOFT AND PROCESS AUTOMATION SPECIALIST who has PROVEN EXPERIENCE in DATA HISTORIAN AND AUTOMATION INFRASTRUCUTRE..

This is a contracting role based in the Basel area and planned to start in May until end of the year with extension opportunities.

PROJECT BACKGROUND:

For the Manufacturing IT Kaiseraugst Team we are looking for someone to support our Data Historian and the Interfaces to the automation layer on site. S/he will perform the 2nd Level Support for the applications we manage, working following ITIL and CSV guidelines, define, run and document changes within the system. The candidate will be in close collaboration with Process Automation, Quality Assurance and global IT and will also support running projects. To be prepared for the job an intensive training will be carried out at the beginning of the employment.

TASKS:

Install and configure PI Osisoft

Install and configure PI Osisoft Interfaces to automation
-

Install and maintain the required infrastructure (virtual machines, physical server)
-

2nd Level Support
-

Support of projects
-

On call support (Once you are onboarded)
-

Close collaboration with internal and external partners like Business, Informatics, Process Automation and Suppliers

IDEAL PROFILE:

-

+7 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE in PROCESS AUTOMATION, DATA HISTORIAN AND AUTOMATION INFRASTRUCTURE
-

Degree in Informatics or Engineering
-

Experience in SPECIFYING, CONFIGURATION, TESTING AND DOCUMENTING OF SYSTEMS AND APPLICATIONS
-

GERMAN SPEAKING
-

Self-reliant, resilient, flexible and have a high service orientation
-

Good technical understanding with good networked thinking
-

Good communication skills

NICE TO HAVES

-

Experience in Pharma production or IT environment (GxP, CSV)

Project Experience
