SENIOR PHARMACOVIGILANCE OFFICER

SURREY

CONTRACT 6-MONTH

£60 - £80 PER HOUR

SENIOR PV OFFICER required to work with a WORLD-LEADING PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANY on a contract basis. The successful individual will assist and support the MCO Head of Pharmacovigilance and Pharmacovigilance Managers in managing assigned workload across the department to ensure the accurate and timely processing of pharmacovigilance data

SKILLS REQUIRED:

- Previous experience in a Senior pharmacovigilance/Drug safety role
- Life science degree or Qualified Health Professional
- Strong experience with computer systems for word processing and database management
- Strong Powerpoint and presentation skills

DESIREABLE:

- Familiarity with Electronic Document Management Systems would be an advantage
- Background within either regulatory affairs or the pharmaceutical sector would be advantageous

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- PRE/POST AUTHORISATION PROCESS MANAGEMENT

Effective processing, evaluation and assessment of all pharmacovigilance data received

- SIGNAL DETECTION AND ISSUE MANAGEMENT

Regular monitoring of the UK safety database in order to identify trends and potential safety issues and conduct follow-up

- PRODUCT RESPONSIBILITY

Increase and maintain in-depth knowledge of all safety issues relating to the products

- REGULATORY SUPPORT
