Senior Outreach Worker

We are looking for an Senior Outreach Worker to be based within one of the five Children's Centre within the North West Locality, and to provide flexibility and cover for staff absences within the other Children's Centres within the North West Locality if required.
You will work closely and in consultation with the Family Services and Outreach Service Manager and with the Head of the Lead setting and the Children's Centre Locality Manager to ensure best practice.
You should be Educated to NVQ 3 levels in childcare or family work. Experience of supporting children and young people with disabilities. One year's experience of working within a building based environment in the community or outreach work providing support and information to families within diverse communities in an inner city environment.
An understanding of the risks of harm for children and young people and the protocols in place to safeguard people against harm
