Senior Oracle ERP Project Manager

Scope of Work
The Project Manager is responsible for directing and coordinating multiple resources to manage and implement the project from initiation to final operational stage.
Develops project charters, detailed project plans, business cases and other project management documentation as described in the Owner's System Delivery Life Cycle methodology
Plans, schedules, monitors and reports on deliverables and activities related to the project
Leads the project team in understanding customer requirements and translating requirements into technical designs.
Manages project costs, budgets, staffing requirements, project resources and project risk
Creates and implements contingency plans to address risks and mitigation schedule revision, manpower adjustments, fund allocation and work requirements
Controls project requirements, scope and change management issues
Weekly and monthly status reporting.
Chairs weekly status meetings and monthly steering committee meetings.
Manages team leads and coaches members of cross-functional teams to accomplish project deliverables, meets established schedules or resolve technical/operational issues.
Mandatory Skills
Minimum ten (10) years of experience managing IT projects
3+ (3) years of experience leading Oracle ERP projects. Experience with ERP implementations or re-installations would be considered a strong asset.
Excellent communication (verbal and written), presentation, training and leadership skills.
Successful direct management of IT projects ranging from $500 thousand to $10 million in size
Proven ability to deliver clear and concise project documentation
Proven ability to communicate with all levels of management, both verbally and in writing
Proven ability to work within standard procedures and methodologies
Ability to provide input into procedure and methodology improvement
Proven success at managing and controlling the scope of projects through effective change control and scope management processes
Ability to pick up projects mid-stream and delivery the projects to successful completion
Strong organizational skills
Works proactively and independently
Strong leadership capabilities
Applied knowledge of MS Office suite and MS Project
Preferred Skills
Experience utilizing Oracle Projects and SharePoint
PMI Certification (PMP) or PRINCE2 Practitioner
