Senior Oracle Developer - English Speaking Contract in Zurich

For a global bank we are searching for a Senior Oracle Developer.

Key Responsibilities:

- AS THE ROLE IS IN SWITZERLAND, COMMITMENT AND AVAILABILITY WILL BE KEY. THIS WILL MEAN EXTRA HOURS TO SUPPORT PTA AND PROD RELEASE CYCLES AND PROVIDE L3 SUPPORT.
- Off-Shore coordination
- Integration of implemented Work-Packages into application
- 3RD LEVEL SUPPORT FOR SEVERAL APPLICATIONS
- Implementation of the application components using Oracle PLSQL, Informatica and OBIEE
- Support Analysis and Design of the application architecture and its components
- Ensure expected code quality
- Participation in integration and user acceptance testing
- Ensure that common standards, processes and tools are adopted across all deliverables
- Ensure the creation of adequate documentation
- High dedication to quality of deliverables and commitment to delivery

Essentials Skills and Qualifications:

- EXCELLENT SQL/PLSQL DEVELOPMENT SKILLS
- EXPERT IN SOFTWARE ENGINEERING AND SOFTWARE DESIGN
- LEADERSHIP AND PEOPLE MANAGEMENT SKILLS IS A MUST INCLUDING WORKING WITH OFFSHORE TEAMS & THE CHALLENGES THIS PRESENTS
- COMMITMENT TO DELIVERY, WHETHER ITS WEEKEND WORK SUPPORTING PTA OR WORKING LATE TO SUPPORT A RELEASE IS A MUST
- ORACLE 10/11G/12C DEVELOPMENT SKILLS
- STRONG SQL TUNING EXPERIENCE
- Strong Datamodelling experience
- Experience with large databases and techniques used therein
- Team City experience
- SVN experience
- Bachelor/Master Degree, equal education or qualifying experience in Information Technology
- Expert communication skills
