Senior Oracle DBA - Liverpool - 40-45K

A successful private sector firm based in Liverpool are looking to hire an additional Oracle Database Administrator into their large support team. The DBA must have excellent experience with Oracle databases and will be responsible for the maintenance of two business critical Oracle systems.

This is a very exciting time to join this growing company, with a number of major projects planned for next year included major system upgrades and development of new platforms including a large Data-Warehouse and BI system.

The current environment is heavily Oracle based (you will be working with a large Oracle 11g estate) although their is also some SQL Server databases on site as well.

Core Experience Required:
- Oracle RDBMS (10g or 11g essential)
- Core Production DBA / Administration skills (backup and recovery, performance tuning)

"Nice to Have" Experience:
- Unix
- PL/SQL
- SQL Server RDBMS (including SQL scripting)
