For our client in Amsterdam we are looking for a Senior Operations Engineer in Accounting (Oracle Fusion).

As Senior Ops Engineer you are responsible for the technically correct functioning of several financial applications.
Specifically this concerns the support for the Oracle Fusion Financials suite with a focus on the Fusion Accounting Hub and Fusion Ledger.
The international Finance domain uses these tools for the creation of their accounting rules and product ledgers (e.g. Financial Markets products).
Besides incident management you will also be involved in the continuous involvement of our Finance landscape in which you advice on e.g. version
and release management but also apply patches/upgrades to the applications, execute performance tuning and ensure integration with related finance
applications (e.g. PeopleSoft GL and Business Analytical Warehouse).

Your work environment
You will work in an enthusiastic DevOps team with motivated and ambitious colleagues (both within the Netherlands and abroad). Your work location is Amsterdam-Zuid-Oost.

Your profile
Key skills and technical requirements:
Fusion Accounting Hub (focus on functional aspects, but technical knowledge appreciated)
Oracle application management (Oracle, EXA environment)
Unix / Linux skills

Technology:
Fusion Middleware administration
Basic knowledge of Fusion Apps
Basic knowledge OEM
Basic knowledge of ODI
Knowledge of Database Management System (Oracle), SQL, PL/SQL, Performance tuning
Knowledge and experience in automation and continuous delivery
Preferably knowledge on security at Linux and Oracle level

Background:
Experience in working in Agile teams
Fluent in English, knowledge of Dutch is appreciated
Knowledge of the Finance business processes in a large financial company and change processes.
Familiar with accounting rules engine techniques, dimensional modelling, data marts
ITIL foundation
Application Management experience including tooling (like HP Service Center or Jira)
Standby out of office hours is required
