SENIOR OPERATIONAL TAX EXPERT - BANKING

Operational Tax Analyst/Manager sought by our client, a Tier One Investment Bank in Zurich.

This is a 6 month contract for a senior role in an exceptionally exciting project within the bank, reporting directly to the Head of Operational Tax Management.

Responsibilities

- Management, explanation and coordination of the operational tax impact from the setup of a new legal entity.
- Assess, allocate, and prioritise operational tax issues for various business functions
- Identifying any operational tax problems which are yet unaddressed
- Advise affected business functions with respect to the design of new technical operational tax processes
- Track the resolution and implementation of operational tax processes, liaising closely with process owners and stakeholders.

Requirements

- Excellent knowledge of operational taxation across banking functions including Wealth Management, Investment Banking and Global Asset Management
- Excellent understanding of front to back processes, particularly as how they are affected by operational taxes across the bank
- 6+ years of Operational Tax Management experience
- Project management skills
- Excellent communication skills
