SENIOR NETWORK VOIP DESIGN ENGINEER - 6 MONTH CONTRACT - URGENT!

VOIP/WIRELESS/SIP/ITU/ETSI/IETF/IP NETWORKS/ IP-PBXS/AVAYA/CISCO/CALLMANAGER/ACME PACKET/SBC/ WAN/WLAN/CWNP/CWNA/CWSA

My client is one of Irelands leading provider of telecommunication services and are seeking a Senior network VoIP Design Engineer to join their office in Dublin. You will be responsible for the design, dimensioning, test specification, documentation and maintenance of new and amended networks, platforms, services and related systems. The Senior network VoIP Design Engineer will need to ensure delivery targets are met on time, to budget, and meet applicable quality criteria, and will be able to identify root causes to problems and find creative solutions

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
o Strong knowledge of the SIP protocol
o Strong knowledge of network protocols (ITU/ETSI/IETF)
o Strong knowledge of IP Networks - design, implementation and troubleshooting
o Strong Experience of Design, build and test and deploy network/application components.
o Strong knowledge of business IP-PBXs (Avaya, Cisco CallManager) Acme Packet SBC, configuration and troubleshooting
o Strong knowledge of the IMS architecture and standards
o Good knowledge of Knowledge of Legacy voice technologies
o Good Knowledge and experience of project management tools and techniques.
o Exposure to Quality processes and their practical implementation
o Competent with Writing Technical Service Descriptions, Functional Specifications and other development process-based documentation.
