Senior Network Expert/Contract/12 Months

T4S Solutions are searching for the cream of the crop in Network Infrastructure. Working in the Data Center Solutions team you will be at the forefront of their Network infrastructure services providing hands-on technical and business related solutions while working with the best technologies in the industry.

As a Network expert you will focus on the following:

DESIGN & DEPLOY NETWORK SOLUTION ON THE DC/WAN PERIMETER:

propose solutions to meet business requirements.
design the solutions with respect to the actual design standards
work in close cooperation with architects for keeping HLD and LLD aligned
deploy the solutions in the production network in a controlled way
perform correct handover to operations

DELIVERABLES

documentation of the network setup in the form of Layer2/Layer3 schemes (in Microsoft Visio)
writing of LLD (Low level design) documents
contributing to HLDs (high level design documents)
writing of detailed migration plans for implementation of significant and major changes
writing of high level change descriptions for getting a change approved by the CAB
writing of test plans to validate the correct functioning of setups after a change.
writing of performance troubleshooting reports

TECHNICAL SKILLS

(CCNP, CCDP, CCIP level - or equivalent by experience) having 5+ years of experience in technical network business and experienced in the understanding technologies:
A good all-round network knowledge
MPLS technology (IGP/LDP/MP-BGP, L2VPN, L3VPN)
Networks: LAN/MAN/WAN technologies, TCP/IP, Ethernet, and architectures (Layered model, Spanning-tree, multicast, QOS, VRF, )
ROUTING (static, BGP, OSPF, redistribution) - thorough BGP knowledge is a must.
End-to-end Qos for business applications and RT streams (voice, video) and network optimization tools
tunneling GRE, IPSEC
DC LAN technology (Spanning-tree, Multi-Chassis Etherchannel, VSS, Thrill/Fabric Path, DC InterconnecT technologies (VPLS, OTV, ...)
Optical transport: DWDM, Fiber technologies, optical splitters,
Virtualization (vrf, vrf lite)
Good troubleshooting skills
experience on Cisco ASR9000 & Nexus 5K/7K platforms is considered a plus

DESIGN SKILLS:

Knowledge of Cisco platforms and their design limitations
Knowledge of scalable network architectures
Documenting in Microsoft Visio
Writing of HLD/LLD documents and migration plans

FRENCH IS A MUST! English is also mandatory.
