SENIOR NETWORK ENGINEER - BRUSSELS, BELGIUM

LANGUAGES: ENGLISH with DUTCH and/or FRENCH

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in complex networking environments
- Strong knowledge in Checkpoint, Juniper and Cisco technologies
- Certifications as CCNA or CCNP is an asset
- Experience on Cisco Nexus is a plus
- ITIL Foundation certification

DESCRIPTION OF WORK:

- In charge of the daily network administration and implementation of complex projects, migrations and changes on network level
- Perform root cause analysis of complex problems on network level
- Create detailed network designs
- Create technical documents than can be clearly understood by readers by presenting useful information that is clear and easy to understand for the intended audience
- Good understanding of basic cryptographic concepts like PKI, Certificates, and Private and Public keys
- Working on a daily basis with (and not limited to):
- TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, BGP and all other protocols
- Firewalls: Checkpoint/Stonesoft - mandatory
- IPS - Stonesoft is mandatory
- VPN (Juniper)
- Cisco and Nortel switching (Lan/WAN)
- Load Balancing (Cisco ACE and F5)
- BlueCoat Proxies
- Wifi technologies
