Network Solutions Engineer (Client Facing - Investment Banking)

A global tier 1 investment bank is looking to hire a Network Solutions Engineer to design and implement quality network solutions for the bank working within a heavily Project and Design focused team. The role is a mixed Project/Engineering and Client Facing role so this role will be ideal for a highly personable engineer who enjoys balancing both the business and technical side of networking.

The role is a client facing role and will be involved with the on boarding and on going solution design and engineering for key trading partners/clients across multiple vendor technologies, including: Cisco/Nexus, Juniper, Arista and some work with F5. The ability to understand complex requirements in order to deliver tailored solutions for trading network infrastructure will therefore be important.

Other example projects the engineer may be involved in; office/datacentre migrations, lifecycle management for core network infrastructure, security of connections to third parties, wireless solutions, new technology deployments, MPLS design, QOS policy and subject matter expert troubleshooting.

Ideal skill set / Experience:

* Strong CISCO design/engineering skills, CCNP standard or above
* Ideally mixed vendor experience: Cisco Nexus, Arista, Juniper, F5
* EnterpriseNetwork Infrastructure
* Delivery of large scale Networking projects
* Good client facing skills, including design, negotiation and relationships
* Cisco Programming: IOS native IOS/CATOS hybrid
* Protocols: BGP, RIPv2, EIGRP, Spanning Tree
* LAN/WAN Protocols: TCP/IP, Multicast, Frame Relay, MPLS
* Remote Access: IPSec VPN, Dial-in Solutions

Ideally experience will be from Investment Bank or Financial Services, however an out of industry high demand Enterprise Networking Environment is applicable.
